James Casey
After purchasing a small house in a rural Italian village with the idea of renovating it and enjoying a slower life, James unwittingly embarked upon yet another career in writing inspired by that experience.
His first novel, Cooking Up a Country, is a mystery romance whose characters continued to occupy Vasey’s mind until he authored two more novels featuring them: Unlikely Pairings and Recipe for a Nation, which combined into the Seborga Trilogy. Having been bitten by the writing bug, Vasey could not stop. To his credit, he now has five novels, three short stories, and a detective series, all in just eight years.
Five of James’s stories are being considered for screen interpretations, and he is now dabbling in children’s books. The Dog in the Wrong Place is the first in a series. James travels with pen and paper between the north of England and Liguria in Italy with his wife and Labrador, Millie.
